Josh was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma close to the ankle of his right leg in April 2021 at aged 19. His consultant, Mr Perera told us he wanted to cure Josh and the only way to do this was to remove his leg below the knee.

From April to June 2021 Josh underwent 10 weeks of chemotherapy and then on the 30th June 2021 he had his surgery before facing another 5 months of Chemotherapy which finished at the beginning of December. He also had 48 rounds of immunotherapy. The whole treatment was 30 weeks.

During this whole journey Joshs mindset has blown everyone away, its been a true testament to his strength and character, he has shown immense courage but has also helped and supported the other young patients hes met along the way. His determination, humour and resilience has pulled everyone around him along.
