Story
This year, we (Julie, Cédric & Vadim) are taking part in our very first fundraising event—the Glasgow Kiltwalk—to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK.
It’s an event close to our hearts, as we are walking in memory of Julie & Cédric's beloved sister-in-law Aline, who tragically passed away from bowel cancer earlier this year at just 48 years old. Aline leaves behind her husband and two beautiful young children.
We will always treasure the memories of the family's trip to Scotland two years ago, especially because it took place after Aline’s diagnosis. She was a beautiful person inside and out, and she kept fighting, smiling, and cherishing every moment, despite living with severe pain. Her loss leaves a void in our hearts, and we miss her deeply every single day.
By participating in the Kiltwalk, together with our friend Vadim, we aim to raise funds for Bowel Cancer UK, the leading charity dedicated to supporting those affected by bowel cancer. Their mission is to save lives and improve the quality of life for everyone impacted by this devastating disease.
Bowel cancer is the second deadliest cancer in the UK, claiming the lives of more than 16,000 people each year—many of whom could be saved with early detection and better treatments. We’re committed to supporting Bowel Cancer UK in their vital work to change this.
Your donation will help fund research, awareness, and support for those living with and affected by bowel cancer. We’re incredibly grateful for your kindness and support.
Thank you for helping us make a difference.
