Story
Julie has been creating gorgeous, handmade sea glass jewellery, collected from the UK's beaches - to raise funds for Walfinch's charity partner The Royal Osteoporosis Society.
The pieces come in a selection of colours, from stunning, dark, bottle-greens, to warm browns and bright, pale blues. Each piece is an eco-beauty - as glass discarded into the sea returns to the shore as treasure... Julie has taken it a step further by transforming these precious little bits into wearable art, arriving in a hand-stamped box to keep them safe - and makes them the perfect gift!
More about Walfinch and the ROS...
Walfinch is proud to partner with the Royal Osteoporosis Society to raise vital funds and awareness for a condition that affects millions across the UK. As a home care provider dedicated to supporting older adults in staying active, independent, and healthy, we understand the significant impact osteoporosis can have on quality of life.
By teaming up with ROS, we’re helping to fund research, education, and support services that empower people to take control of their bone health. Whether it's through fall prevention, nutritional advice, or tailored activity plans, our shared goal is to prevent fractures and support healthy ageing.
Together, we’re committed to making a real difference in the lives of those living with or at risk of osteoporosis.
