ZIP for Lymphoma!

ZIP for Lymphoma · 24 September 2023
September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month and whether you’ve recently been diagnosed, are living with lymphoma, or have a loved one who has been affected, you can count on Lymphoma Action to support you and your family or friends from diagnosis, through treatment, and beyond.
I was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma in 2017.
Lymphoma Action has supported me brilliantly for the last few years and I am truly grateful to them, so I wanted to raise some money for them and meet in person some of the people I only know from Zoom
Update (14/9/23)
Only 10 days to go! Thank you so much to all of you who have already supported me and those who still want to donate.
Lymphoma is not widely known about but there are over 60 types and it is the 5th most common cancer, so it is vital to continue funding research into new treatments
Another update (25/9/23)
Just when you think it’s all over…..after the event had to be cancelled yesterday due to atrocious weather, I did the Zip Wire this morning with Graham and met some of the Lymphoma Action team at Zip World doing the same thing.
I thought about all my family and friends who have supported me, Lymphoma Action who have given me so much help, and the wonderful NHS in Weston super Mare and Bristol who saved my life and made it possible for me to have this fabulous experience.
Thank you everyone
