Story
In February 2026, our dear colleague and friend, Sam Rowe, lost her life to cancer. She was a fantastic teacher who worked tirelessly for her students at the Presdales School for almost 20 years. She was also a passionate and very accomplished runner.
In memory of Sam, a number of Presdales staff will be taking part in the Ware 10 race, challenging themselves to run 10k or 10 miles, in order to raise money for Isabel Hospice. The race will take place on Sunday, 5th July.
The care that Isabel Hospice provided Sam, as well as the support they gave to her family and friends, were second to none.
Please donate to support this amazing charity in order to allow them to continue their irreplaceable work.
Isabel Hospice provides palliative support to the 370,000 people who live in eastern Hertfordshire.
Hospice care is about helping people to live well for as long as possible and have a good death in the place of their choice when the time comes. Without your help, we could not make this possible for our patients and their families. Each year we care for approx 2,000 people but we know there are even more people that need our help.
