In June 2024, we are taking on a Mighty Hike in the stunning Lake District to raise money for people living with cancer.

Julie, Donna and Andy have pledged to raise £1000 and would appreciate any support in reaching this. By fundraising our pledge, we could pay for a Macmillan Support Worker for a week, who could provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer.

Having suffered the heartache of losing close family and friends over the last few years, we have realised the importance of MacMillan nurses in caring for our loved ones through the difficult times and providing support for all along the way.

This will be our third Mighty Hike and possibly the most challenging, however this doesn’t even come close to the pain and heartache suffered by those living with cancer and those suffering recent bereavements!!
