Hey Everyone,

I am taking part in the Sunflower Sprint this May for Lingen Davies Cancer Support.

I would really appreciate your support as this is very close to my heart. As some of you are aware, the last 12 months have been horrendous for my family. In the summer of 2025, my Mom was diagnosed with cancer. Following months of endless appointments and invasive treatments, I am ecstatic to say she has beaten this disease. However in the Autumn of 2025, whilst we were dealing with my Mom's diagnosis, my older brother was also diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately his is too advanced and too aggressive and he is now, only a few months later, at end of life.

Myself, one of my best friends Kelly and my beautiful son Buzz will be taking part in this event to raise money for this incredible cause.

In June 2025, Lingen Davies launched a £5 million appeal to double chemotherapy provision in our region by 2029. The Sunflower Appeal will create a new chemotherapy unit, outpatient clinics and diagnostic centres at Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.

Every donation, no matter what the size, will go towards helping them achieve this goal. If you are able to contribute in any way please do so.
