I made it, 13.1 miles though the beautiful Norfolk countryside although I'm not sure my knees have forgiven me yet! the time spent training paid off however am likely to stick to pickleball in the future!

Earlier this year I was diagnosed with bowel cancer and underwent weeks of chemo-radiotherapy treatment. During my cancer journey The Big C has provided warm smiles, cups of tea, kind support and complementary sessions to ease some of the physical, psychological and emotional side effects of life with cancer. The volunteers and staff in the centres in Norwich have been amazing.

I did this run to raise monies to ensure this wonderful service continues their research and for the support to be there for those of us living with cancer, those who have survived cancer and everyone whose lives have been touch by this terrible disease.
