Story
On 1st August, myself and two of Joanne’s amazing carers, Rhonda & Elle are taking a 15,000ft leap into the sky to raise funds for PSPA!
While a 120mph freefall is terrifying, it is nothing compared to the strength and bravery my beautiful Sister Joanne shows every single day.
In 2023, at just 49 years old and after a painful three-year medical battle, Joanne was diagnosed with Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD) - a rare, rapidly progressive brain disease that affects movement, speech and swallowing. Because it is so rare, awareness is dangerously low and families often face this devastating diagnosis completely isolated. PSPA is the only UK charity dedicated to changing this - providing lifelines, expert care and vital research for CBD and PSP.
We are conquering the skies to celebrate Joanne’s upcoming 52nd birthday and to raise much needed awareness. If you are able, please consider sponsoring our jump. Every pound helps us reach our goal and support families who need it the most.
Thank you for your love & support
