On the 14th April 2021 my whole life fell apart when my lovely Daddy Cyril Davis died very suddenly, and very unexpectedly from a massive cardiac event. Daddy looked so healthy and had a great fitness level. It was a complete and utter shock, catastrophe for our family, and the most devastating loss to us all.

Daddy was a big gentle giant, a kind person and the best Father, Father in law and Grandad to us. It broke my heart in to a million pieces having to tell our then 3 year old Son that he would never see Granda Cyril again. We now have a beautiful daughter who will never know her Grandad.

I really want to honour Daddy and make him proud of me for raising awareness around heart health and raise funds for NICHS. I never ever want any family to have to go through what we have. Daddy was just 57, we thought we had decades left with him. I am forever grateful that my last words to Daddy were ' I love you'. I will love him forever.
