Walking a marathon for Maggie's, Oxford

Story
On 5th May, we will be taking part in WalkWithMe, a marathon distance walk, which is raising funds for Maggies in Oxford: https://www.maggies.org/our-centres/maggies-oxford/
We are a group of six (five friends - Julie, Rachel, Lorraine, Huw and Lynne, and Julie's nephew, Andy).
Last year, Julie lost her husband, Hugh, to cancer. During the year that he was being treated, we had the most amazing support from Maggies in Oxford. It was our place of calm and support during a distressing, and often turbulent, time. Rachel's husband, Rodger, is currently receiving cancer treatment, and is also finding Maggie's to be a place of incredible support. We are all committed to raising funds for this wonderful charity.
The 26-mile walk starts and finishes at Moulsford School in Moulsford-on-Thames and includes a section of the Ridgeway in Oxfordshire and Berkshire. We are expecting it to be a bit hilly, as well as a long way! We are aiming to complete, but in the spirit that it's the taking part that counts, if any of us doesn't quite make it in the time allocated, we will still have given our best!
