I'm raising vital funds for Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland (RCTN) by taking part in the Hadrian Leisure Centre Swimathon 2025.

Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland is a charity that provides services to women and girls aged 13+, who live, work or study in Tyne & Wear and Northumberland, who have been affected by sexual violence and abuse at any times in their lives.

I will be swimming one mile in one hour! My swim starts at 3.45 pm and finish at 4.45 pm on Sunday 23rd November 2025. Pop along and show your support to everyone who is taking part. Your support will be very much appreciated, especially when I start getting tired.

Both charities will have a couple of small stalls selling some items, and running a tombola to raise extra money on the day. If you have family and friends and want to come along to support on the day, the leisure centre have tea/coffee vending machine that takes cash only. Cold drink and snack machines that do take card payments only.
