I am fundraising for a wonderful local volunteer-led day centre that supports and cares for people living with dementia and their families.

This charity is very close to my heart, as they helped care for my wonderful dad. The support, kindness and dignity they showed him meant so much to both him and our family. It gave him companionship, activities, laughter, and a place where he was truly cared for, and it gave us reassurance and support when we needed it most. I miss him every day, and this is my way of saying thank you while helping other families who are going through the same journey.

As a volunteer-led centre, they rely heavily on donations to continue providing activities, meals, support, and a safe, welcoming place for people living with dementia. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference and help them continue their amazing work in our community.
