I'm raising money to thank the lido community for their support over the last six years following an accident that changed my life forever.

In 2018 I broke 13 bones, had a large stab wound to my hip which took 3months to heal, a brachial plexus injury which paralysed my left hand temporarily and still presents with pain and cramping, plus nerve damage to my neck in a car accident, which also took the life of my partner. I still suffer pain especially down the left side of my body.

The lido community have supported me and my family during our recovery and now Id like to raise some money towards their latest sustainability project. The lido are looking to install solar pv panels which will generate 93% of their electricity consumption.

I am going to row a marathon on the Gloucester Canal with the help of another local charity called Just Row Gloucestershire. Currently just staying in the boat and not ending up swimming is an achievement.
