Georgina has set herself the challenge of walking, cycling or swimming her way to 100km in May and we are right behind her.

Here is her story…

It’s Almost 8 years of care since Georgina’s diagnosis of Polyarticular Junior Idiopathic Arthritis. That’s well over 100 routine appointments and a bucketload of treatment as an inpatient, as a day patient, as an out patient. Treatment which is both planned and urgent but treatment which is delivered by experts and with care, compassion and Georgina’s health and well-being at the forefront.

Georgina’s health took a significant dip last year but she’s well and truly back on track, so…now she says it’s time to give back. She’s giving back to say Thank You but also to help the thousands of children out there who need this amazing place as much as she does and more.

Please, if you can, give a little or cheer her on. It really does mean the world to her and children like her. 💙💛🐻

Monies raised make sure that this amazing hospital can offer way beyond what they “need” to to ensure that children really are given the very best chance. Monies raised make the wards a brighter place but also help to fund projects to make the care the hospital can offer even better and even more innovative than before.
