We would like to raise money for Thameside as a thank you for everything the school has done for our children over the years.

A few Year 6 parents have talked about fundraising as a thank you as our children are leaving. However this fundraiser is open to anyone who would like to contribute.

Any amount would be welcome and there's a possibility of some corporate matched funding through this fundraising page. If you'd prefer you could make a donation to the school office, the downside is that this won't receive the extra 20% tax back from the government.

When asked for ambitious ideas, the school mentioned two things, a covered area for the playground: Colourful Polycarbonate Roof Canopies | A&S Landscape (aandslandscape.co.uk). It would be for the gap at the back of the Donald Block, for example, so that children can sit on the benches even when it's wet or get a bit of shade in the summer.
