My TCS London Marathon 2025 for Breast Cancer Now

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
Alfie is going to complete a 5 mile sponsored run this coming Sunday in memory of his mum and to raise more money for Breast Cancer Now for research.
Last Sunday (27th April) I took part in the London Marathon but became unwell at mile 21 and had to withdraw from the event.
Alfie is going to complete the last 5 miles with me - remotely- this weekend.
I ran in memory of our daughter Vicki who found out she had breast cancer shortly after her 30th birthday
Sadly Vicki didn’t get to see her 35th birthday after she lost her fight with the disease.
Vicki left behind two young sons and a heartbroken husband.
As a family we continue to raise awareness of this condition and of the charity whilst fundraising to support the research Breast Cancer Now are doing to eventually ensure no one dies from this disease.
Breast Cancer Now is the charity that’s steered by world-class research and powered by life-changing support.
They’re here for anyone affected by breast cancer, the whole way through, providing support for today and hope for the future.
