Fundraiser for Teenage Cancer Trust

Julien Amblard is raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust

Mount Kilimanjaro

Imperial students are supporting Teenage Cancer Trust by sending a team of students to take on the Kilimanjaro Trek in 2025. Their fundraising efforts will help make sure no young person faces cancer alone.

Story

I've teamed up with a group of students at Imperial College to embark on a journey in August to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa at an elevation of 5,895m (19,341ft)!

In order to tackle this challenge, we're raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust: 50% of donations will help subsidize the trek, and the other 50% will go directly to the charity, providing nursing care to 13-24 year olds with cancer all over the UK. More specifically, this will help provide funds for specialist nurses, youth support teams and hospital units within the NHS. With your help, much needed care could be provided to young people with cancer, helping to ensure their well-being as they persevere through a very hard time in their life.

In order to reach our target, each of us needs to raise £4,970 by June 2025 — it great if you could help out!
