Story
Brain Research UK - Since 1971, thanks to the incredible generosity of many thousands of supporters, the Brain research UK have invested funds of more than £58 million in vital neurological research and focusing brain tumors, brain and spinal cord injury, and headache and facial pain.
My Running Journey
I started my running journey via my first Parkrun in 2015, attending many weekend runs, to achieving my first half marathon in 2018, raising money for Gunnersbury Catholic School, particularly their extremely integral IT department.
Although I have been running other races (e.g 10ks, half & full and ultra marathons), I have decided to run for Brain Research UK, due to the phenomenal work that they do in contributing to the research of various neurological diseases to help people live better and have longer lives.
I run to inspire family and friends, improve own mental wellbeing, make new friends, and instill a sense of fulfilment.
