Story
In the heart of Oxfordshire, there exist two unique organisations that provide compassionate care for our most vulnerable individuals. ROSY is dedicated to providing respite nursing care for children facing chronic, life-limiting or terminal illnesses in the comfort of their own homes. These children and their families often endure unimaginable challenges and it is our mission to ensure they receive the support they desperately need.
St Luke's Hospital stands as a beacon of hope, offering rehabilitation, respite, palliative and end-of-life care to those adults who require it most. This charity not only supports individuals who can no longer live at home due to their conditions but also provides a nurturing environment where they can feel safe and cared for around the clock.
On April 25th, 2026, we will be participating in a personal marathon—all or part of a 26-mile walk—to raise funds where the proceeds are split between both charities. Our goal is to raise £25,000 through Just Giving to help continue this vital work. I invite you to join me in making a difference to the lives of these patients and their families. Your support can bring comfort and relief during their most challenging times. Together, we can ensure that no person faces their illness alone.
NB St Luke's collects the donations and distributes 50% to ROSY
