Story

Mike and Jules will be running the London Marathon for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

We’re running for Liberty — Mike’s daughter, Jules’ wife — and for everyone living with cystic fibrosis (CF).

CF is a genetic condition that affects the lungs, digestion, and overall health. For a long time treatment options changed very little, with constant medication and vigilance just to stay on top of the condition.

Then came Kaftrio. A breakthrough drug that drastically improved health and changed lives. By extension, it changed the lives of the families and friends connected to those who were able to take the treatment.

Fortunately Liberty was eligible, but not everyone with CF can benefit from Kaftrio, and daily treatments continue remain essential for all. We want to keep this medical momentum going so the whole CF community has access to these type of drugs, and go to the next stage of beating CF once and for all.

The CF Trust is our chosen charity. Their mission is to unite people to stop cystic fibrosis, and they fund vital research and improve care. Please donate to help our fundraising efforts for them.
