Jump with Robbie for his birthday!

Catherine Brown is raising money for Down Syndrome Cheshire

Star Jump with Robbie! · 21 October 2025

Our charity was founded in 2007 by a group of parents, who realised how important it is to connect with other people in order to share experiences. Our aim is to provide opportunities for parents, carers, siblings and extended family networks to have fun in a fully inclusive environment, where a child with Down’s syndrome is one of many, rather than one of a few.

Story

Robbie's birthday falls on a very important day. The 21st of October - Down Syndrome awareness month!!!

Instead of presents, he'd like his family and friends to join him in a challenge to help raise money for a very special charity - Down Syndrome Cheshire.

The challenge is to do 21 star jumps and donate £2 :)

We'd love you to share your star jump videos on social media and help spread the word of Robbie's campaign.

Robbie's been doing lots of star jump training and is looking forward to doing 21 star jumps in a row with his school friends on the 21st!

Why 21? Down Syndrome is the magic that happens to a person when they have an extra copy of chromosome 21.

Why Down Syndrome Cheshire? This amazing charity has provided training to Robbie's teachers, guided Robbie's parents through many challenges and questions, and given Robbie amazing opportunities to try new things and make new friends. They are always pushing Robbie to achieve his potential and exceed everyone's expectations.
