Help Us Make a Difference: Support Space 2 Be Me

Mark and I met 25 years ago. On 17 May 2025, we will embark on a challenging 100-kilometre trek along the stunning Jurassic Coast to raise funds for Space 2 Be Me, a charity that supports children, young people, and families with additional needs in West Kent.

We are both using this fundraising page and, together, need your support to make a lasting impact.

Why Donate?

Neurodivergence is more common than many realise, yet it often goes misunderstood. Many individuals face long waits for NHS diagnoses and, without proper support, their potential can be lost and their development hindered.

Established by parents in 2011, Space 2 Be Me offers vital pan-disability services including clubs for different age groups, family support, and training for parents. Around 80% of its members are neurodivergent. With your help, more families will be able to access these resources.

The Challenge: the Jurassic Coast Ultra

This isn’t just a walk; it’s a 100-kilometre endurance test from Corfe Castle to Bridport, traversing the breath-taking but tough World Heritage Jurassic Coastline.

From the initial stretch through the Isle of Purbeck, past iconic sites like Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, to the gruelling Chesil Beach at 83 kilometres on tired legs and feet, this trek will be a true test of determination and resilience.

We’ll push through every step because these families need us – and we need you.

How You Can Help

Starting on 17 May 2025, we’ll walk through the day and night; no sleep, just sheer determination.

By then we’ll have trained for hundreds of hours and walked hundreds of kilometres to prepare, but your support will be our greatest motivation.

We will share our progress so you can follow our journey and, most importantly, donate.
