Story

A Jurassic Coast Walk to support those facing poverty and climate crises.

We are trekking over the peaks of the south coast!

From Morecombelake, over Golden Cap (188m) to West Bay (5.5 miles), 27 May 2023

This event is part of Christian Aid Week 2023 – which this year will be focussing on farming communities in Malawi, where people are paying a harsh price for the global cost of living and climate crises.

Everyone is equal in the sight of God. For over 75 years, this truth has inspired us at Christian Aid to stand together in solidarity with our most marginalised global neighbours, of all faiths and none.

Poverty is an outrage against humanity. It robs people of their dignity and lets injustice thrive.

We seek to eradicate extreme poverty by tackling its root causes. Together with people living in poverty, we amplify our voices to speak truth to power and create lasting change.

We work with churches, individuals and local organisations in communities worldwide, supporting people of all faiths and none to rise out of poverty. We help people survive disasters, deal with the impact of climate change, find shelter from conflict and have a voice in their communities.
