Story
Last year, our family’s world changed when our beautiful Amy, aged just 35, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Hearing those words is something no family is ever prepared for. Thankfully, because her cancer was detected early, her prognosis is good. Early detection truly saves lives, and we are incredibly grateful for that.
Throughout her treatment, Amy has shown remarkable strength and positivity. She has faced every challenge with courage and determination, inspiring all of us.
This year, as a family, we are taking on the Great North Run. We are running for Amy, to celebrate her strength, and to support the amazing work of Breast Cancer Now. This charity provides vital research, care, and support to those affected by breast cancer, and helps ensure more people can benefit from early detection and life saving treatments.
Every step we take is for Amy, and for everyone affected by cancer.
Thank you so much for your support.
