We are raising money in memory of Juliane Neilson. Juliane passed away on 8th January 2025 after a long and courageous struggle with Ovarian cancer. She was 48 years old and is survived by her loving family and friends.

She was very open about her cancer journey, facing it with positivity and the dark humour that everyone loved her for. It was very important to her to raise awareness of symptoms and warning signs so that other might avoid a similar situation.

The care and attention she received from throughout her treatment was absolutely exceptional but the support provided in the latter stages of her illness by Ardgowan Hospice was exceptional, not just in terms of managing her symptoms but also for the support and advice they provided to both Juliane and her immediate family.

As an ex-harrier herself she'd be delighted and honoured that the club have provided such a great opportunity to raise funds for Ardgowan Hospice in her name. She may not have enjoyed the uphill mile quite so much.
