Story

Hi everyone! I am doing the T100 Triathlon event (it's a half-Ironman, so 2km swim, 80km cycle and 18km run) on August the 10th to raise money for the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust.

I'm not a strong swimmer, and 2km is just under 3 times more than I've ever attempted!!

I've cycled 80km twice before but never alongside anything else, and I'll be running a half-marathon after those two events for good measure 😁

The charity I'm going to be doing this for is one very dear to me. My wife has had three ectopic pregnancies in the last few years, each of them risking her life and resulting in heartache due to miscarriage.

The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust helps women affected by ectopic pregnancy by a call-back support line, live chat, video calls, and an online forum, along with research and education on the topic.

Even though I'll be lining up in August around 5 stone heavier than everyone around me, I'm still hoping to finish in under 6 hours, which I've been told would be a decent time.

Anything you could spare would be going towards a very worthy cause ❤️
