At just 4 years old, Alfred was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma. Over 19 months of intensive treatment, including chemotherapy, surgery, radiotherapy, a stem cell transplant and immunotherapy, he faced more than most could imagine. Even through it all, Alfred held onto his love of life - a devoted brother and friend who found joy in hide and seek, travelling with his family, tending his vegetable garden, and bringing imagination and laughter into everyday moments.

Alfred was so much more than his illness, and he deeply touched everyone who knew him.
