This October, we will be walking 100 miles to raise money for Breast Cancer Now!

I will be walking to support my friend Alison. Here’s her story:

“A year ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and this year has challenged me more than I could have imagined, both physically and mentally.

Through chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy, three things have kept me going: my family, my friends and a determination to keep MOVING!

I'm now on a targeted drug, which is only possible through the incredible advances in research over the past years. Even still on treatment, I want to keep going, keep walking, keep moving, even if it's one step at a time. One step becomes a mile.

Along the way, side by side with some amazing friends, we want to raise money to support Breast Cancer Now. Breast Cancer Now has not only been a lifeline for me over the past year, but this incredible charity also funds the research, which may one day benefit all our daughters. “
