Story
On Saturday I am taking on 100km March along the Southdowns in 24 hrs. Three great friends looking to take on the dark hours of an Ultra to challenge ourselves and each other.
The Motor Neurone Disease Association provide scarce signs of light, hours of support and a whole load of experience for sufferers and families when they most need it and beyond. There for use during the dark times, offering coping strategies, answering questions, normalising the unimaginable and listening are just a little bit of what they did for our family.
The training is over and it turns out training for a 100km takes you away from home more than you would think and loads yet more pressure on those left at home to do the hard work! Thankyou Milla x
Now for the awkward bit - Please can you support me and the MNDA do our work. 24 hrs straight carrying my kit in a pack with over 2,000 m of ascent and worst of all, having to listen to my 2 teammates telling me how easy they are finding it. Taking Dads with me on every step and will be putting one step in front of the other for him and the countless others that have and will use the MNDA.
THANKYOU x
