On Saturday 18th July, six colleagues from the TSG team at Railpen will be taking part in our fifth annual charity challenge.

This year the team are taking on the Gower Peninsula Ultra raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support – a deserving beneficiary of your sponsorship contributions.

The team will be taking part in a range of distance challenges, from the 25km Loop, to the 100km Loop. An overview of the challenge can be found here: Ultra Challenge

Railpen is responsible for the safekeeping and investment of pension assets and the administration of several pension schemes, including the Railways Pension Scheme, one of the UK’s largest and longest‑established pension funds. Everything we do is focused on securing our members’ future.

Personally, I’ve always enjoyed hiking and spending time outdoors, but this will be my first time taking part in an event like this to raise money for such an important cause. It makes the experience even more meaningful.

A big thank you to David for organising everything — it’s no small task, and without his effort I’d probably have hesitated to take this on myself. I’m really looking forward to joining my colleagues, pushing myself, and completing this challenge together as a team.
