Help Keep Southall’s Homeless Community Warm This Winter
My daughter and I recently connected with an incredible local charity in Southall called Hope for Southall, who support homeless and vulnerably housed people in the area many from the Punjabi community and people who have come to the UK from India.
We were able to donate 15 blankets, but we were heartbroken to learn that there are around 60–80 registered homeless people currently being supported. That means we still need to raise funds for another 45–65 blankets so everyone can stay warm and safe.
Each blanket costs £20, and every single donation no matter the size will make a real, immediate difference.
Hope for Southall does deeply compassionate, grassroots work, offering dignity, care and practical support to people who are often invisible. The staff and team there are truly wonderful kind, committed and clearly driven by care rather than recognition. Being in their space, you can feel how much heart goes into what they do.
If you’re able to donate, please know that your money will go directly towards something tangible: warmth, comfort and humanity for someone who needs it right now.
Thank you so much for reading, sharing, donating, or simply holding this cause in your heart 💛
