Trekking for Heroes: Normandy D-Day Challenge
From 6th to 8th June 2026, myself and my friend Stewart Mackay will be taking on a powerful challenge — trekking 90km across the beaches of Normandy to honour the legacy of D-Day and raise vital funds for Alabaré, a charity supporting homeless veterans.
Led by Ant Middleton, this expedition promises to push us to our limits, both physically and mentally, as we retrace the steps of those who fought for freedom. We’re proud to be part of a team walking in their memory, while helping today’s veterans find safety, dignity, and a fresh start.
Alabaré believes that no veteran should ever have to call the streets home. Every night, they provide around 100 veterans with safe, veteran-only accommodation and tailored support to help them rebuild their lives. With a network of 21 homes across the UK, Alabaré offers not just shelter, but hope — helping veterans gain the skills, education, and confidence to move forward into independent living and employment.
All of Alabaré’s work with veterans is funded through donations and grants, which is why we’re asking for your support. Every pound raised will help change lives.
