I'm Racing for Refugees because I believe that everyone deserves safety, dignity and hope for the future. But for far too many refugees, this is the last thing they are greeted with when they arrive in the UK.

Refugee Action exists to defend the right to safety that we all share. They’re fighting the hostility that has a devastating, daily impact on refugees. I'm joining them in the fight for people seeking safety to have the support and opportunities to thrive, not just survive.

My Race for Refugees will be to run at least 25km every week in September.

The challenge I have set myself is modest, I'm certainly no athlete, but it is a first step towards bigger events. Eventually I hope to be taking part in marathons to raise money and awareness in my own small attempt to build a more compassionate world.

The money I raise will power life changing support and system changing campaigns. Thank you for supporting me!
