Story
This October, I’m running my first ever half marathon 🏃🏻♀️
I’m doing it to raise money for Cancer Research UK, to help fund their life-saving work.
Those who know me know that running is… not my sport. But thanks to the patience of my “coaches” (aka friends who are much fitter than me), my very tolerant family, and the discovery of runderwear (yes, it’s real, yes, it’s life-changing), I’m somehow weeks away from lining up for my first “proper” race.
No Strava. No sweaty selfies. Just me, some dodgy headphones, and a very questionable playlist trying to get through 13.1 miles 💪🏻
Nearly 1 in 2 people will face cancer in their lifetime - a tough reality - and one of the many reasons why I am running this race.
Every single donation helps fund research that saves lives. It all adds up - and it’ll definitely keep me running when the going gets tough.
So if you can, please sponsor me.
Together, we are beating cancer.
See you at the finish line! 🏁
