Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Im taking on the Thames Path 100km Continuous Challenge in memory of my Grandad, who passed away on 10th September.
This challenge is not something I take lightly....a few years ago I managed 50km in the Cotswolds, and i know this 100km will push me to my limits. But this time, its not just about distance, it's about heart, determination, and honouring someone who meant so much to us.
I'm walking to raise funds for RAFA (The Royal Air Forces Association) - Grandad gave his time to RAFA, supporting the Wings Appeal, standing in cold supermarket foyers with a smile, and visiting ex-RAF families to offer companionship & care.
I've started training early to give myself the best chance of finishing this challenge - it's going to be as much about mental strength as physical endurance. I want to cross that finish line!
If you are able to support me, no matter how small the donation, it would mean the world. Every penny helps RAFA continue their amazing work and brings me one step closer to my goal.
Also, feel free to come along on a training walk with me - just drop me a line and we will get something sorted!
Thank you so much for your support.
