This May, I’m lacing up my running shoes alongside my amazing Elections Team colleagues from Manchester City Council; Maia, John, and Po to take on the Great Manchester Run 10K! On Sunday 18th May 2025, we’ll be pounding the pavements through the heart of our city, all to raise vital funds for We Love MCR Charity—an organisation doing incredible work right here in Manchester.

We’re fundraising to support their mission of empowering communities and young people across our city. Here’s how your generosity will make a difference:

✨ Stronger Communities Fund – Helping Manchester’s unbeatable neighbourhoods improve lives locally.

✨ Manchester’s Rising Stars Fund – Breaking down financial barriers for ambitious young Mancunians chasing their dreams.

✨ Emergency Response – Like during COVID-19, when they delivered £1million+ to 300+ frontline groups, from food banks to domestic violence shelters.
