I will be taking part in The White Collar Fight Club this March, and have chosen to raise money in support of Grief Encounter.

Founded by Dr. Shelley Gilbert MBE, Grief Encounter is a beacon of support for every child and young person grappling with the challenges of the death of someone close. No matter who you are, where you come from, or the nature of your grief, Grief Encounter is there for them. In the face of anxiety, fear, and isolation triggered by bereavement, they offer a lifeline, working closely with individuals, families, schools, and professionals to guide them through the healing journey.

The array of services provided by Grief Encounter includes personalized one-to-one counselling, engaging group workshops, therapeutic sessions involving music, art, and drama, memorable residentials, and Family Fun Days. Grief Encounter extends its reach through a national, free, and confidential helpline called Grieftalk, which includes a web chat service for added accessibility. Additionally, Grief Encounter provides tailored support for schools, universities, and colleges, a dedicated Trauma Team for sudden or traumatic bereavements, accredited training courses, and webinars for professionals.
