Story
This June, I’ll be running the Yellowstone Half Marathon in honor of my mom, my best friend, and my biggest supporter. She fought pancreatic cancer with unimaginable strength and grace, and even in her hardest moments, she never stopped showing love, humor, and caring for others.
Losing her changed everything. But I carry her with me every day and with every mile I run. This race is for her. It’s my way of turning grief into purpose, love into action, and pain into something that can help others.
I’m running with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) to raise awareness, fund research, and support families who are walking this same heartbreaking road. Pancreatic cancer is cruel and fast but together, we can change the future for those who come after.
Every step I take through Yellowstone’s trails will be for my mom for the life she lived, for the strength she showed, and for all the moments I wish we still had.
If you choose to donate, please know that your support means more than words can express. You’re not just helping me reach a goal you’re helping give families more time, more hope, and more tomorrows.
