Story
This Christmas Day and Boxing Day, I’ll be volunteering at Crisis’ day centre in Stratford to support people experiencing homelessness in London.
Homelessness is at a record high in the UK, and this year I wanted to give back in a meaningful way. I’m also doing this in memory of my cousin Gordon and my uncle Stephen, who were both impacted by homelessness. It’s a stark reminder that homelessness can happen to anyone, at any time.
Charities like Crisis make a huge difference, offering vital support through hot meals, shelter, warm showers, and essential services to get people back to where they need to be. Even a small donation can make a big impact.
If you’re able to contribute, it would mean so much. Thank you for your support ❤️
