We are East Anglian Air Ambulance. A charity providing lifesaving critical care, 24/7, every day of the year across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Whether by air or road, we’re there for the most seriously ill and injured, when every second counts.

Story

Merry Christmas everyone, I am fundraising raising for the East Anglia Air Ambulance Service because they helped me through my accident down Mile Cross Road.

My story begins.

I was riding my bike down Mile Cross Road coming from the roundabout when a car pulled out from Havers Road. When the car pulled out I knew I was going hit it and I passed out before I hit the car. I woke up on the road after hitting the car and I saw police, ambulance and air ambulance crew there as it was critical. When I was in the ambulance the Air Ambulance crew helped me throughout the situation and got me to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. I had some tests and Xrays done and unfortunately I had a clean full break half way down my femur which caused me too be in hospital for 3 days. I had to have a rod and pins put into my leg to help the bone heal again. I had general anaesthetic and open leg surgery.

So this is my way of saying thank you to the paramedics who helped me. I thought I'd do something good to help them by doing my own Christmas light show to raise money towards them.
