Story
Running the London Marathon is more than a physical challenge for me it’s deeply personal. I am taking on this incredible race in memory of my grandad, a man who meant the world to me and whose strength, kindness, and quiet determination continue to inspire me every day.
My grandad once stood on this very course himself, completing the London Marathon with pride. To honour him, I will be wearing his original race number on my shirt, a symbol of the connection we share and the legacy he left behind. Every mile I run will be for him.
Mental health is a cause that sits close to my heart. Too often, especially among men, struggles are hidden behind silence and bravery. My grandad, like so many others, carried more than most people ever knew. I want to use this challenge to help break that silence and raise awareness that no man should ever have to suffer alone.
By running in his memory, I hope to turn my grief into something positive to support those who are struggling, to encourage open conversations, and to remind people that help, understanding, and hope are always available.
Thank you for supporting me as I take on this journey. Together, we can make a difference one step, one conversation, and one life at a time.
Thank you for your time visiting my page, any size of donation will be much appreciated.
