Kaizen Martial Arts Academy is taking on the 1,000 Kata Challenge to raise money for Candlelighters, a fantastic Leeds-based charity supporting children and young people with cancer, and their families, across Yorkshire.

As a martial arts academy, we believe strongly in discipline, growth, respect and community — and this challenge is about putting those values into action.

Our students and instructors will come together to collectively complete an incredible 1,000 kata, pushing themselves physically and mentally while raising as much money as possible for a cause that makes a real difference to families facing childhood cancer.

Every kata completed represents determination, perseverance and the strength to keep going when things get tough.
