Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

I am embarking on a personal trek, marching 500km while carrying 26Kgs of kit over a challenging six-month period, starting on September 1st 2025 culminating on March 1st, 2026. I will be carrying the same load as an infantryman did on the first day of the battle of the Somme (approximately 60 pounds). My treks will be fitted in around family, work and other commitments. This journey is not just a test of endurance; it is a heartfelt commitment to raise vital funds for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity that has been serving our brave men and women, veterans, and their families since 1885.

SSAFA understands the unique challenges faced by those in the Armed Forces community, whether they are stationed in the UK or deployed overseas. In times of need, they provide essential welfare and wellbeing assistance tailored to support our Forces family.
