Story

25 Half’s in 25 Days

Most of you are aware by now, I like to run and I like to run to raise money for CRY! This year is 25 years since my dad passed away, so for this anniversary, I have decided to do a couple of things, first one which has been done which was to run the London Marathon just like my dad 25 years ago, and secondly, THE REAL CHALLENGE: I am going to run 25 consecutive half marathons in 25 consecutive days, starting on my birthday 13th August and finishing with the Great North Run on September 7th! I have already ran the Great North Run in memory of my dad but I have unfinished business with it, and this year my best mate George Havercroft will also be running with me!

I want to try and raise as much money as possible this year with it being 25 years so any donations would be massively appreciated!

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young. By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions. See how your support can help by visiting www.c-r-y.org.uk.
