I hope you all are well and I am going to draw your attention for the next few minutes.
Deadly street drugs have become widely available with no shortage in Tamil-populated North-East Sri Lanka within the last few years. Innocent school students, are the main target of drug traffickers and every parent fears their children being drawn into drug addiction.
Destruction of our Tamil youth in the North and east of Sri Lanka is happening before our very eyes. Do we sit back and watch this destruction, or should we empower the next generation with the proper awareness?
In response to the soaring rates of drug use in the youth, JMFOA(Jaffna Medical Faculty Overseas Alumni), with doctors from the North and East, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna, is implementing a major project, 'the drug abuse prevention program' for all schools and increasing rehabilitation facilities for those affected.
The money raised would be used
''SAY NO TO DRUGS'' and
''GO GREEN GLOBE'' projects.
This is a worldwide fundraising activity for this massive project jointly by KILI PEOPLE and JMFOA.
I am here to appeal for your generous help in fundraising for this well-worthy cause. Every penny will help.
