Story
On 13 September 2026, I'll be taking on the Great North Run with two of my colleagues from Newett Homes to raise money for Martin House Hospice for Children and Young People.
I spend a lot of my free time running, so it felt right to put something I enjoy towards raising money for a charity that does such important work. Training for a half marathon is a challenge, but it's nothing compared to what the children, young people and families supported by Martin House face every day.
Martin House provides incredible care and support to children and young people with life-limiting conditions, as well as their families, helping them through some of the hardest times imaginable.
I've set myself a fundraising target of £500, and every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference. If you're able to support me, I'd be incredibly grateful. Whether you donate or simply share my page, you'll be helping raise awareness for a truly amazing charity.
Thank you so much for your support – and wish me luck on race day!
