Story
Cancer has profoundly impacted my life. Both of my grandmothers—my father’s mother who had throat cancer and my mother’s mother who had breast cancer—passed away far too young, before I was even born. They didn’t have access to the right treatment at the right time, which has left a deep mark on me and my family.
In recent years, I’ve also seen close friends and their families face similar battles with cancer—some still fighting, some victorious, and sadly, some gone. I initially grew my hair, hoping to donate it for wigs, but when that wasn’t possible, I knew I had to do more.
That’s why I’ve started this fundraiser to support Shaukat Khanum Cancer Research Foundation, an organization that provides free cancer treatment in Pakistan, where resources are often scarce. My grandparents never had the chance to get the care they needed, but by raising funds, I hope to help others avoid that same fate.
Please join me in honoring my grandmothers and supporting those still fighting. Every donation brings us closer to giving others the care and hope they deserve.
