Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Here is Paulines story (Pauline owns Ignite fitness - The gym I attend)

In 2025 we launched Bench for Boobs. It was a project to keep me (Pauline) active throughout my cancer treatment. The event took place whilst I was undergoing chemotherapy.

A year on and through active treatment I am grateful for the treatment so far. I've learnt a lot about breast cancer and have become passionate about helping women navigate life post treatment. Treatment doesn't end when we ring the bell. That's more like the end of one chapter in a long journey.

I'd love money raised to go towards research into alternative treatments to chemotherapy and the support, especially in terms of menopause, after treatment.

This year the event is going to be bigger! Collectively we hope to bench press 1 million kg. Yes you read that right! 1,000,000kg.

We achieved 592,000kg last year. By getting more people involved we hope to achieve our goal. Last year we raised £25,000. Again, we hope to beat that! Every penny helps.
