In February 2017, we lost our mum Julie to cancer.

It was a long and painful battle for mum, but she wasn't alone. Julie received palliative care under St Rocco's Hospice. In the final weeks of her life, the hospice went above and beyond, allowing us to stay with her 24/7 so that she wouldn't be alone at all in her last days.

We are eternally grateful to St Rocco's for the compassion they showed to our family, and so are doing a marathon-long memory walk around the Wirral to raise money for St Rocco's Hospice who took such brilliant care of mum, and so they can do the same for other families.
